New expansion pack for Pokemon TCG Pocket adds mega evolution

A new expansion pack has arrived Pokemon TCG Pocket October 29th. Called “Mega Rising,” this major update adds powerful Mega Evolved Pokemon to the digital card game.

The Mega Rising expansion pack features Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria as powerful new Mega Evolution Pokemon ex cards. Each of these Mega Evolved Pokémon will have their own booster packs, so players will have plenty of new cards to open. As shown in the video below, these Mega Evolution cards feature some very dynamic illustrations that make the Pokémon look like they're jumping off the card.

Pokemon TCG Pocket is celebrating its first anniversary and the important milestone of surpassing 150 million downloads since its global launch. On this occasion, the game will have some new updates. One of the biggest changes is an update to the trading feature, which will allow players to trade cards that are rarer than previously eligible cards.

Additionally, a new sharing feature has been introduced in the game. Players can share up to one card per friend per day, and receive up to one card per day through this feature. This is more of a gifting feature, so players don't need to give back cards.

Pokemon TCG Pocket also shared an early preview of some of the cards coming in the next major expansion, including Powerful Giant Lop Rabbit Ex.
