MultiVersus directors reunite to launch new studio

Earlier this year, WB Games announced CancelMultiVersusthe game was shut down in May. Now, two directors at MultiVersus have revealed that they are teaming up to launch a new studio, Airlock Games, which will be entirely self-funded.
MultiVersus production director Justin Fischer and technical director Brock Feldman are founding members of Airlock Games, having previously worked on Disney Infinity and Medal of Honor. Fischer and Feldman plan to focus on making smaller games faster rather than diving back into AAA games.
“We spent years developing high-profile AAA games, but we missed out on the brilliant, reckless creativity that can be found in more focused games,” the pair said in a statement. “In this space, we can focus on delivering new experiences that interest us both as players and developers. We're excited to have the freedom to take creative risks, push boundaries, and tell stories that AAA productions can't.”
The first game from Airlock Games is already on its way. This is a simulation management horror game called What did the stars forget?and it uses old-school 16-bit graphics.
one Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign It is currently underway with a funding goal of $25,000. As of press time, the campaign has raised nearly $8,000 and will run until November 27.
What Stars Forgot will be available in early access on Steam later this year.
