Microsoft teases more Halo News this October

What's next for Halo? It seems that fans will make further jokes at the 2025 Halo World Championship in October this year.

exist Blog PostsTahir “Tashi” Hasandjekic, the leader of the Halo series, advises fans to attend the event in Seattle from October 24-26 to see what Halo Studios is doing.

During the same event last October, Halo Developer 343 Industries announced that it has changed its name to Halo Studios and confirmed that multiple projects are in progress. Halo Studios said in the same breath that all its future games will be developed on Unreal Engine, while Halo Infinite uses Slipspace Engine.

Announcement was unveiled in a seven-minute video displayed before the finals of the Halo World Championships. This shows the results of Project Foundry (an experimental project designed to showcase the halo game made using Unreal Engine – and a glimpse at the new beginning of the Xbox flagship franchise after the 2021 Halo Infinite.

In the blog post, Tashi referenced last year’s announcement and laughed at more in October this year.

“In the past few weeks, speculation about when and where more details about any multiple projects that Halo Studios is actively working on may appear,” Tasi said. “We don’t usually comment on such issues, but this time we want to get into the chat and share more for halo fans who might encounter at this year’s event.

“Last year at Halowc, we aired the conversion we talked about to Unreal Engine in 'New Dawn', giving you a behind-the-scenes observation and debuting to Halo Studios in our Evolution into Halo Studios as we entered a new chapter in Halo. For us, “New Dawn” is “New Dawn” and it's a start – we look forward to Halowc this year and we look forward to continuing the conversation.

“Pusses are always fun, but if you want the official work that Halo Studios has been doing, you won't want to miss this year's Halo World Championship. We really hope you join us in Seattle this October!”

So, can Halo Studios announce this news? It seems unlikely that we will provide a comprehensive game reveal for the next Big Halo champion, but we may get a more detailed technical demonstration to show the halo running in Unreal Engine. Earlier this month Microsoft is reportedly preparing a halo: a repairman for combat evolution for release in 2026. Maybe we'll look at this. The unannounced remake of So-Far is clearly considering a release on PlayStation 5, including PlayStation 5.
