Microsoft announces Xbox Game Pass Wave product lineup for October 2, 2025

Microsoft has announced Wave 2 of its Xbox Game Pass October 2025 lineup, fleshing out the rest of the month's games.
It is worth noting that today’s announcement Xbox line as follows Microsoft Game Pass price increase, rebranding of some tiers. So now we're talking about Game Pass Premium and Essential, not Standard and Core. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass keep their names.
Xbox Game Pass tier and price changes, October 2025:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: $29.99 per month, up from $19.99 per month
- Xbox Game Pass Premium: $14.99 per month, same as the old standard subscription
- Xbox Game Pass Essentials: $9.99 per month, same as the old Core subscription
- PC Game Pass: $16.49 per month, up from $11.99 per month
So, available on Game Pass Premium today (October 22nd) is Commando: Origins (cloud, console and PC), now available with Game Pass Premium. The official synopsis reads: “Suicide Squad: Origins revisits six iconic commandos from the original series. Witness elite stealth tactics gameplay, harness your team's unique abilities to execute complex strategies, and combine your forces in 2-player cooperative multiplayer. The battlefield beckons. Do you have what it takes?”
Now available on Game Pass Premium Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S). “Pursue your aviation career with dynamically generated missions, compete with other pilots, and explore the world’s most detailed digital twin to date. As Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 takes simulation to new heights of authenticity and realism, embark on your global adventure with our largest fleet of aircraft. The sky is calling!”
PowerWash Simulator 2 (cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one tomorrow, October 23. IGN PowerWash Emulator 2 Review Return 8/10. We say: “PowerWash Simulator 2 deftly sticks to what made the original formula so popular, while adding a few upgrades to solve some tough problems.”
Additionally, Bounty Star is available as a day one game on October 23 on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass (cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S). “Bounty Star is a shoulder-mounted 3D action game that combines mech combat and customization with farming and base building. Players take on the role of a broken but powerful ex-soldier named Clem, a veteran, talented fighter, and expert mech pilot.”
Day one launch will continue on October 24 with Super Fantasy Kingdoms (Game Preview) available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass (PC). “Rebuild your kingdom and explore a vibrant fantasy world in this roguelite city-building game. Defeat hordes of monsters with a unique team of defenders as you harvest, build, mine, cook, brew, and grow. But if your defenses fail, prepare to watch it all burn!”
Halls of Torment (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) will be available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on October 28. “Destroy hordes of horrific monsters in this tribal survival roguelite game. Delve deep into the halls of Hell where the King of Hell awaits you. Treasures, magical trinkets, and a growing roster of heroes will give you the power to defeat these horrors.” Beyond. Moving into next month, 1000xResist (cloud version, PC version, and Xbox Series X|S) will be available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on November 4th. “1000xResist is a thrilling sci-fi adventure game. Another big hit in the lineup is Football Manager 26 (PC), which launches on day one on November 4 via Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. “New foundations set the stage for you to define your football destiny. Built on the Unity engine, FM26 is a classic that redefines storytelling and puts you at the heart of a beautiful game.
