Mario Kart 8's Souped 200cc difficulty is not included in the Switch 2 release title yet Mario Karting World – But Nintendo hints at the possibility of reappearing with post-release updates.
Nintendo added 200CC mode to the Mario Kart series for the first time in Mario Kart 8, although it only appears in post-release patches. Can Nintendo plan to do the exact same thing for the follow-up to the series? It seems likely.
Speech Rolling stonesMario Kart world producer Kosuke Yabuki admits that the 200cc is a popular member of the series, but nothing it returns has been confirmed yet – for the moment.
“Some players are very happy with adding more difficult modes,” Kosuke said with a smile. “But does this mean we will consider adding engine sizes larger than 150cc in the Mario Kart world? I'm afraid I can't say it yet.”
It's no surprise that Nintendo didn't include 200cc in the Mario Kart world when it was launched. This mode arrives on a later date, allowing fans of the game to learn the course and get used to playing at a standard 150cc (or lower) if needed before the larger challenge of 200cc.
The multiplayer gameplay in Mario Kart world may only take this into account, encouraging a team of players to work and explore, their Gamechat Open open and the cameras are on.
It is speculated that whenever Mario Kart World's 200cc update arrives, all players need to play at the same level to explore the game map together. So, better, let the player first hold it with 150cc before increasing the equipment or engine size.
Mario Kart World will be launched this week with the Nintendo Switch 2 and has a seamless map to explore as you like. Just don't get into this product and expect it to be like Forza HorizonIGN said.
