Magic: Party Final Fantasy World goes beyond expansion Really, really, real Popular. This is the fastest extension in magic: Hasbro every day. It is Secret Nest Cooperative Sales Sold Out in Record Time,Then Improved inventory of boosters, starter kits and decksthere was a time where it was hard to grasp anything related to X Final Fantasy. The popularity of the scene even pushed a bunch of non-final fantasy cards to a higher price, just Because they have excellent synergy with the set.
Most importantly, it made $200 million in one day – same as the Lord of the Rings of Magic Six months.
This is According to Hasbro's second-quarter earnings callwhich together with a Magic report reveals the figure: party revenues have largely increased by 23% year-on-year due to the release of Final Fantasy. According to CEO Chris Cox, it attracted more new players in the store in two weeks. In the Investor Q&A during the revenue call, Cox answered the question of how the demands of Final Fantasy are associated with the company’s expectations with the following quotes (Provided by Investing.com's transcript):
In terms of Final Fantasy and how it meets expectations, I will compare between our two largest universes. It took the Lord of the Rings six months to provide $2 billion in revenue.
Final Fantasy took a day. We left a need on the table. Therefore we cannot produce enough production. I think we added production runs four times before the release. In many very high double numbers, this is before any other production we have done, which is basically a very high double digit percentage.
We leave the market and want more. Our expectation is that the product will have a nice backing tail. Again, we are still selling Lord of the Rings products today. So even though we won $2 billion for Lord of the Rings on December 2, we sold a large portion of the years after that. We hope Final Fantasy is no different.
It's part of the stuff that supports our defenders, and it's been more than five and a half months of the year than we did the previous year. So, I think what this is for the bullishness in our final fantasy. What drives success? I think these are a few things. I think first, it finds the right IPs that are rightly adjacent to something magic fans might attract or magic might attract another fan base.
Lord of the Rings is great because it's fantasy grandfather. It invented genres, major books, major movies, major animations and games. I think Final Fantasy is almost as powerful as King of Rings in terms of IP strength, if not more powerful in some areas. I think it has a stronger cross-region appeal and probably more in the game than the best locations in Lord of the Rings because it was born from the game. So, I think the overlap of fan bases is probably better than you can even see on things like Lord of the Rings.
In a follow-up question, Cox also noted that he felt “good” about future collaborations and next year’s first-party suits, just like in Final Fantasy, like the type of players, the size of the community, and the adjacency we have. ”
For fans of Final Fantasy scenes, the last sentence is good. We just saw one Sonic: Hedgehog's Secret Nest Crossover First appearance, already known Spider-Man and Avatar: The Last Air Hope Room Theme Set in September And November, so with such success, more crossovers may make sense for Hasbro people. At the same time, at least that means Hasbro will keep Final Fantasy cards for a while, for those who haven't yet been able to master them.
