Locke & Key Comic Compendium is nearly 50% off on Amazon, but it probably won't last long

If you like Netflix's supernatural horror series Locke & Key, you should check out Amazon's deal on the original comic series. this Locke & Key: Summary of the House of Keys Only $68.51 on Amazon (originally $125). This beautiful compendium collects all six volumes of the original edition into a single 976-page hardcover book.
Published by IDW Publishing in 2021, Keyhouse Compendium still regularly sells for the full price of $125, and Amazon is currently trading just a few bucks away from its all-time low. The deals on Keyhouse Compendium tend to disappear quickly, so check them before you buy. This is currently the cheapest way to get a physical copy of the complete series.

Locke & Key, written by best-selling horror novelist Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez, was first launched in February 2008 and ran for 37 issues before the story concluded in December 2013. Known for its excellent writing and beautiful full-color illustrations, Locke & Key was one of the most popular horror comics of its time.
The six books listed below are included in the Keyhouse Compendium. We've listed the price of each hardcover edition. Spoiler: you will spend a lot of More, since each volume sells for $20-30, and volumes 4-5 can only be purchased from third-party resellers.

Keyhouse Compendium measures 7.38 x 1.89 x 11.06 inches, so the pages are slightly larger than the original hardcover and paperback editions.
“Locke & Key” tells the story of three children who move into their father's childhood home after he is murdered. The kids soon discover that it's called “The Keyhouse,” and it holds a host of terrifying (and magical) secrets.
Complete your Locke & Key collection
While Keyhouse Compendium gives you the entire main story, you'll need a few other books to truly complete your series. None of the stories included in the compendium require reading, but are worth a read if you like the main series. Locke and Key: The Golden Age is the newest collection of stories in the comic universe. This 232-page hardcover collection collects three prequel stories about the Locke family ancestors who lived in the early 20th century. Amazon has a limited-time sale on The Golden Age, knocking the price down to $21.43 (originally $30).

The difference here is that the deluxe edition has extra pages of Hill's earlier drafts. There is also a separate numbers-only question called Known Key Guide $2.

For those who prefer individual trade paperbacks to one giant hardcover, there is another option besides the Keyhouse Compendium. The Locke & Key Slipcase Set collects the same 37-issue arc as in the Keyhouse Compendium. Six paperback books totaling 984 pages, packaged in a custom slipcase display box that looks really cool.
Locke & Key slipcovers were published by IDW in 2014 and are still in print today. It's typically cheaper than the Keyhouse Compendium, as it retails for $100, but it's currently about $15 more expensive. You can purchase the condom set for $83.33.

Locke & Key Master version

Ahead of the release of the Keyhouse Compendium in 2021, the hardcover option for the collection is the Master Edition series. Each of the three Master Editions contains two volumes of Locke & Key. These editions are very good, but the problem is that they seem to be out of print, and the second volume has been sold out for a long time. Therefore, the only way to complete a Master Edition set is to spend Way Above Volume 2 MSRP. We're only mentioning these versions here because you can still get volumes 1 and 3 – and volume 1 is over 50% off at Amazon.
Another cool way to experience Locke & Key is to listen Audible exclusive audiobooks. The audio adaptation of Locke & Key features the voices of actors including Haley Joel Osment, Tatiana Maslany, Kate Mulgrew, Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Stephen King (Joe Hill’s father), and it’s fantastic. However, if you plan to read the manga, we recommend reading the manga first and then listening to the approximately 13-hour adaptation.
More Joe Hill Comics and Collections

Locke & Key is Hill's best-known comic series, but Hill has created a variety of comics and graphic novels over the past two decades. A good starting point is Hill House Comics Setwhich includes six paperback copies, is available for $57 (originally $100). Some of the comics collected in the box set are also available for purchase individually, but other comics are only included in the box set (physical format).
On December 9, the omnibus version of the three-part series “The Cape,” based on Joe Hill's short story of the same name, was released in paperback. You can pre-order Cape Town Omnibus Priced at Amazon for $28. Some of the comics and graphic novels listed below are adapted from Hill's short stories by other authors, while others are original works by Hill. Locke & Key was a hit, but Joe Hill is probably better known for his prose novels. Like his father, Stephen King, Joe Hill writes horror novels and short stories. his first novel heart shaped box Released one year before the Locke & Key event. Hill's fifth novel, king of sorrowreleased on October 21st. King Sorrow is a horror novel with fantasy and supernatural elements. Like many of his father's novels, Joe Hill's last few books were ambitious. The hardcover version of “King Sorrow” has 896 pages and is available for pre-order at $26.60 (original price $40).

Collected Stories of Joe Hill
Hill is also the author of three critically acclaimed collections of short stories and novellas. Ghosts of the 20th CenturyHill's first book was recently released in a special paperback edition with stained edges and striking illustrations to celebrate its 20th birthday. “Ghosts of the 20th Century” contains more than a dozen great stories, but is best known for “The Black Phone,” a supernatural horror story about a very creepy serial killer called “The Predator.” This story was adapted into 2021 feature films Produced by Blumhouse Productions. “Black Phone 2” was just released in theaters on October 17th.
