LEGO insiders can now pre-order the upcoming Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory set

The 1971 film Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory Remins are one of the most iconic children's movies of all time, full of memorable scenes and scenes that still look great on screen even after all these decades. Starting today, LEGO insiders can recreate blocky versions of the titular chocolate factory's chocolate river and gumdrop tree LEGO Ideas: Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory Set. The launch of the 2,025-piece set was launched on September 18 at Lego's online store for $220, but members of the Free Lego Insiders program can book early. All other customers can grab the set on September 18. We expect this to be a popular version, so it's worth joining the LEGO insider program and grabbing the scene ahead of time.

This 2,025 brick set allows you to recreate a small part of the Willy Wonka factory. Interactive elements include the moving chocolate waterfall and the secret door of Willy Wonka’s office. The set also has 9 microcosms, including Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, Augustus Gloop, Mike Teavee, two Oompa Loompas, Veruca Salt and Violet Beauregarde.

The complete set is 20 inches wide and 10 inches deep, so make sure you provide room for your masterpiece. While this is designed for adults, kids can still have some fun in the full set thanks to all the miniatures – allowing them to play their own unique scenes.
