Kubrick's Barry Lyndon's new standard collection of 4K remakes enjoy 50% off, due to release on July 8

Stanley Kubrick fans can Save Barry Lyndon's Criterion's 4K UHD Remasterone of the best movies of the iconic director Prime Day 2025. The 4K recovery of historical dramas is not released until this Tuesday July 8but a limited-time deal from Amazon dropped the price from $50 to $25. Not surprisingly, Barry Lyndon arched Amazon’s bestseller rankings. At the time of writing, retailers estimate that orders placed now won’t arrive until July 22. With two-week waiting time and current order volume, it's no surprise if Amazon stops bookings soon. If you are interested in adding Barry Lyndon to your collection at this price, it is wise to make sure the copy is before launching.

Barry Lyndon's 4K Criterion Collection Edition is a three-disc set with a 4K UHD disc and two 1080p Blu-ray Discs. Criterion's digital recovery has enabled Kubrick fans to watch the 1975 movie in support of the local 4K resolution of the Dolby Vision HDR10. For audio, you can choose between an uncompressed single-sound soundtrack or 5.1 surround sound with DTS-HD Master Audio.
The second disc is the standard 1080p Blu-ray version released in 2017. It is worth noting that it is also made from Criterion's 4K digital recovery, so while technically limited to 1080p resolution, it looks better than average Blu-ray. Barry Lyndon's Blu-ray release received excellent reviews. Fans and critics are the same, so the superb restoration of Criterion will be done without any compromises thanks to the 4K version, and the HDR10 is exciting.
The final disc is equipped with a special one. Features, including interviews and archive video. It also comes with three written works about the film. Here is the full list of features:

Barry Lyndon Barry Linden's Luck. The movie and the book follow a liar who pursues aristocratic life by marrying a wealthy widow. Kubrick's adaptation is only over three hours and can be properly described as a slow burn. But if you like historical dramas, Barry Lyndon is full of fascinating characters and outstanding photography – it won Best Photography in the Academy Awards and three other categories.
