Kirby Aviation Rider It's a racing game for Nintendo Switch 2, which brings back the gameplay of Kirby Air Ride, which was originally released on Gamecube. Players ride unique machines through various tracks to control Kirby and other characters.

The game includes three main modes: aerial riding, top-level riding and city trials. During the air riding, players use different vehicles to race on 3D tracks, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Top Ride is a top-down racer with more arcade-style tracks, often chaotic and fast. The City Trial Players explore an open city to find upgrades before taking part in a random challenge. This mode emphasizes exploration and unpredictability more than pure racing.

Multiplayer is an important aspect of the game, supporting local and online games. Up to four players can play together on the same console, while online games are more. Online features include docking meetings, ranking competitions and scheduled events. There is also a collaborative version of the City Trial Edition, where players work together rather than compete, adding different types of gameplay to the mix.
