Katy Perry sings at recent performances

Singer Katy Perry debuted thirteen years after her first appearance in The Sims 3, when she repeated her hit song “Last Friday Night” at a concert this week and sang as Simlish, the nonsense of the Sims character.

On X, WitnessedBoy shares clips from Perry's Tiktok user, from a recent concert (viaMy city), in which the singer accepted a fan request from Simlish singing last Friday night. Instead of singing the whole song with Simlish, Perry chose to start with the chorus.

Perry is an outstanding promotional partner for electronic art in Sims 3 in 2012, and the game's Showtime expansion even has a collector version of Katy Perry. The version has an extended power of “Last Friday Night” and the singer performed “Last Friday Night” for the game.

Perry is not the only musical artist to reinterpret the work as a Simlish song. FKA Twigs did the same thing recently The Sims 4 expansion, Parents.

Later this month The Sims will get the official board game. But don't hold your breath for The Sims 5. EA said recently It sold too many Sims 4 DLC to make Sims 5. Instead, EA intends to expand the larger Sims ecosystem through new projects including project Rene.
