The first magnetic field takes place several days on your overland journey. All hell breaks when Jan and his changes try to do everything they can to keep the foundation intact.

This is what you can expect in a magnetic storm:

• Radiosis accumulates faster if you are outside.
• The radiation shielding of the base also requires more power, which means it will consume the radiation filter in the mechanical chamber at an astonishing speed.
• The modules and parts of the base will cause damage, so Jan and his clones will need to perform any maintenance duties.
• All changes will be extended, but this will not affect their morale or happiness, as everyone's survival is crucial.

Magnetic field analysis technology

In order to survive magnetic storms in change, you need to be prepared. The first thing you should do is study magnetic field analysis techniques through a research lab. If you have a scientist, make sure he is assigned in the room until the project is completed.

This special technology notifies you a few days before the next magnetic field occurs. An icon in the lower right corner of the screen also lowers along the remaining days and hours until this phenomenon triggers again.

The best way to plan for moving forward when a magnetic storm happens next

If you want to mitigate the damage of changing magnetic storms, you must make sure there are many of the following:

• Radiation filter – Cost 10 times metal and 40 times organic; placed in a mechanical room to keep the radiation shielding of the base active.
• Repair Kit – 10x metal cost; used to repair damaged components and rooms to keep them functional.

These items can be queued through the “ustold” system in the “Production” tab. Ideally, you will need at least three preparatory misfortunes to emerge.

Additionally, you should check the Jobs tab to see your changes. You will want to have at least two characters – one of which should be the maintenance responsibility of the technician.

Should you even go out during a magnetic storm?

Going out during a magnetic storm can be a big risk. Radiation levels are higher than normal, although not as fatal as at night. That said, the magnetic storm also provides a nice gain: you can Mines and deep deposits Faster when the storm occurs.

However, if Jan's radiation levels reach dangerous levels, you should return to the hub quickly right away. If you have built a medical facility, you can rest in the hospital module, which should help cure radiation diseases over time.
