After some delays, Death in 7 days Finally, the brewing update for Big 2.0 Storm was launched on June 30. Storm's Brewing adds deadly elemental effects and revolutionizes the way biomes work on maps. Experimental beta builds are currently available on PC, here we will guide you on how to earn biota badges and unlock all areas of the map.
New biome progress and changes
In 1.0-day death, you can travel through each biome without weather or elemental effects, but 2.0 adds new conditions to survive for every one. You need to complete the challenge, create consumables and remedies to damage smoke, heat, cold and radiation.
The game still brings you into forest biomes. There is no elemental hazard in the forest, but to go beyond this starting area, you need to complete a series of challenges and earn a biome badge for each challenge. The Biome badge will give you the ability to survive for each element.
Obviously, this means you can’t set up camps or plunder outside the forest until you start winning these badges, so this is something you want to pay attention to right away.

All biogroups and effects
- Pine Forest: Start a hazard-free biome
- Burnt Forest: Battle Hot Ashes and Thick Black Smoke
- Desert: Overcome extremely high calories
- Snow: Survive at frozen temperatures and feverish temperatures
- Wasteland: Conquer high radiation radiation
These biomes are listed in order of severity and completion. This means you need to start with the burned forest. Obtaining the burnt forest badge will allow you to fully enter and explore the area and you will be able to start facing the challenges of the desert.
This update adds an interesting progression level to the game, but the process settings of the biome can be disabled in the game and server options, which will turn off the Biome hazards and badge requirements. This setting is by default.
How to survive longer in each biome
Each biome must complete seven survival challenges within the region. However, you are suffering from elemental damage and can only survive for a short period of time. For example, the wasteland can kill you in seconds.
I recommend trying to get as close to the edge of the biome as possible when possible to escape back to the forest or other unlocked biomes when needed.
For example, the mushrooms required for your first challenge are easily found on the edge of a burnt forest. I was able to collect all the mushrooms without spending a lot of time in the biome. I'm also able to lead burned zombies near the edge to kill them to challenge them, but when you actually kill them you really want to make sure you stand in the burned forest; otherwise, the killing will not count.
The most influential way to survive is to make the game's new smoothie drink.

Making smoothies
You need to make a smoothie to temporarily survive while working on the biota badge. Yes, drinking smoothies is the way you can survive in Revelation. Each biome has its own specific smoothie recipe.
The smoothies provide very short-term immunity to the elements, so you need to make several for each biome you want to deal with. Fortunately, these smoothies can be made in your stock so you don't need to cook the pan on hand. It is also worth investing in Master Chef Privileges to reduce the time you need to make them and reduce the amount of resources you need to make them.
This update also makes the mushroom harvest more valuable in 2.0 as they are used in most smoothie recipes. Harvest some and start growing them to ensure you always have a good supply.
