Unfortunately, what is often seen in the game is the announcement of a team’s cool and exciting new project, followed by months or even years of radio silence. Often, these titles are announced ahead of time – in the absence of gameplay, usually only logos, not logos – excited (and recruiting numbers) before starting to seriously develop for a long time. Sometimes it only takes a long time to cook the hottest new thing (e.g. Hollow Knight: Silk) and other times, these tempting new worlds do not reach the finish line.
