hideo kojima “already wrote this concept” for death stranding 3, but has not done this now

Death Stranding 2: On the beach, the sequel to Hideo Kojima's 2019 hit Death Stranding was widely welcomed at launch. It's “incredibly exciting and original” and “bold work worth encouraging”, at least according to our words Review. As a result, fans may hope to end up with a third game in the series. But for the moment, Kojima has no intention of putting death in trouble 3…although he already has a concept.

The island said in an interview in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia that this is Death Stranding 2 World Chain Journey. When the interviewer asked about Death Stranding 3, he answered the following:

“I'm not going to do this at the moment because the end of Death Stranding 2 is my ending 1 and 2. But I've written the concept of DS3, so I have it in the data. I hope someone will create it for me.”

This is not the first time Kaujima has raised that someone else might pick up his match cloak after him. Back to MayHe said he has been increasingly considering his death lately, prompting him to create a USB stick “kind of like a will” that even if he dies, he will shed light on the future of his studio if he dies.

“I put all my thoughts on my personal assistant, kind of like a will,” he said. “Maybe after I went to Kojima Productions, they could keep doing something… It was a fear for me: What happens to Kojima Productions after I left? I don't want them to just manage our existing IP.”

While we won't be falling into Death 3 anytime soon, it sounds very soon, and in the near future, there will be a lot of things in Kaujima's mind. Death stranding is getting Live movie adaptation Working with A24, and Kojima is busy working on two different games: Horror project ODcollaborate with Xbox, Metal gear succession physics.
