Hasbro reveals Marvel Legends characters inspired by Capcom

These numbers will be released in the form of two wrappers and a single number, depending on the size of the number in question. The complete Marvel and Capcom lineup includes:

  • Wolverine and the Silver Warrior
  • Psylocke vs. Thanos
  • Captain America and Venom
  • Chariot and Omega Red
  • Gargantos (formerly known as Shuma-Gorath)
  • Sword Saint

Although Hasbro has released most of these characters in the past in the form of Marvel Legends (except Gargantos), the numbers are dotted to better capture dynamic sprite designs in classic games. For example, Wolverine has exaggerated claws and masks, while Venom is adorned in his game's precise blue color scheme. Psylocke in particular demonstrates possible extreme expressions with these new numbers.

Obviously, not every character in the Marvel vs. Capcom game is represented here, but collectors can always expect Marvel Legends releases from the past to fill their lineup. At this point, relatively obscure characters such as Morgan and Black Heart also appeared in the Marvel Legends series. The bigger challenge is assembling the Capcom side of the roster. When it comes to Ryu, Chun-Li and the rest of the Street Fighter gang, would we probably recommend Jada Toys’ Street Fighter Line?

Hasbro also showed off their Fantastic Four: The First Step, which includes a titular four-player group Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. View them in the slide gallery below:

Booking for Fantastic Four: The First Step Number will be open on PT on Friday, May 30 at 10 a.m. and will be released in summer 2025.

Until then, why not check Many miracle collections available on IGN Store?
