The Tolkien Illustration Edition of the Hobbit sells for $30.39 ($75) on Amazon. If you want to splurge, the Deluxe Special Edition costs $78.93 ($195).

Don't have a series Tolkien Illustration Edition– Which one we will link to below – This box set is a remastered version of the 1992 hardcover edition, which includes medieval artworks by artist Alan Lee.
The collection includes over 50 new paintings and drawings. It is divided into three volumes, one novel in each of the trilogy, with a count of 1,332 per page. The hardcover book is made of cloth and leather and is decorated with silver typing and stamped logos. It also comes with a decorative cloth display box containing Lee's interior art, three art cards, and two folding maps drawn by Christopher Tolkien.

The 2024 Lord of the Rings collection is released along with the first publication of Tolkien's collection of poems. This massive 1,728-page collection contains works written over seventy years. Tolkien loved poetry throughout his life and initially wanted to be a poet rather than a fantasy novelist.
All in all, there are 200 poems in the box, some of which are centered on Middle Earth. 60 of these poems have never been published so far, so it is a rare opportunity to read Tolkien’s previously invisible writing. These poems are accompanied by comments from two Tolkien scholars, according to the author's life.
