monster and me
This 2D top-down roguelite shooter is chaotic, silly, and just a little gross (well, as gross as a 2D game can be). Your city has been overrun by slime mutants who have one goal: to rip your face off. The natural reaction should be to prevent this from happening, so you'll need to upgrade your weapons and special abilities to fend off the hordes. The demo drops you into the first level of the game, where you just have to survive as long as possible. Pretty simple, right?
Creephobia
Creephobia also challenges your survival, but in a completely different way. You play as Anna, a geophysicist trapped in a frozen Soviet bunker… and there's something else with you. This is a classic psychological horror game, perfect for the spooky season and for those who don't want their hands to be held. Combat is tense and difficult, and sometimes it's best to avoid it altogether. The demo is a stand-alone part of the game's second chapter, in which you must contend with icy, mysterious abominations and Anna's painful past.

This pixel shooter is a bullet hell roguelike set in a post-apocalyptic kingdom where attempts to cure death lead to an all-consuming plague. Before this event you were a doctor, but now you must use cursed masks and plague-infused weapons to deal with escalating enemies. The demo is a vertical slice that gives you a feel for the game's fast pace and lets you try out different curse masks and power-ups.
Dwarves burrow into the ground
It's time to pick up your war hammer, delve into the mines, and secure as much wealth as possible in this first-person roguelite mining game. Mines are randomly generated so no two trips are the same. You'll need to craft items like support beams and ladders to traverse dangerous areas, and utilize lanterns and floodlights to see in the dark. Once you've collected your loot, you'll need to be wary of traps and other dangers on your way back to safety.
Robbery Day
Do you enjoy stealing things and then causing untold damage to an entire city while trying to escape while an escalating police force pursues you? Well, good news. That's the premise of “Heist Day.” You'll speed through hand-drawn environments, and the longer you evade capture, the more intense things will get. If you think this means just adding more police cars and guns, think again. You'll have to deal with spike traps, helicopters, paratroopers, tanks and all-out air strikes. Regardless, chaos and fun take precedence over reality. The demo is a vertical slice that gives you a sense of the core gameplay loop: rob a bank, trigger a police chase, and see how long you can survive as Public Enemy No. 1.
Locked in My Darkness 2: The Room
It's Halloween time, so of course there can't be just one horror game on this list. This is a psychological horror walking simulation game that focuses on atmosphere, exploration and puzzle solving. You play as Yuki Tachibana, a Japanese high school student who recently moved into a new apartment with her family. Something sinister awakens within the walls of their new home, warping reality and unearthing the sins of the past. Using your flashlight, you'll uncover notes, solve environmental puzzles, and uncover the secrets of Yuki's family.
Reset: Sorus
You are Solus, a scavenger drone sent to save bits and pieces from a dying world. But there's only one goal that really matters in this race: to be faster. You'll need to master flight mechanics, thrusters, and power to pass levels as quickly as possible. These levels are high-risk, high-reward, and you'll need to stay alert for everything they throw at you.
sky hare
You may not have seen barrage hell like this. In Air Hares, your main goal isn't to shoot enemies out of the sky; It's using your plane to sow seeds and water crops to save the starving people of barren Winros Warren. But the Feathered Enemies in the Tornado gang want to stop you, so you'll need to dodge, stab and ram them to get the hell out of you, then get on with your important work.
binary golf
Mini golf gets a chaotic makeover in Binary Golf, where you use golf balls to eliminate targets until the last target becomes the hole you need to sink the ball into. But this is more than just an old mini golf course. You can jump over hazards, teleport across routes, and step through objects to pull off stunt shots. The demo includes the first two episodes of the game, which teach you the ropes and then pit you against a boss to test what you've learned.
Cascade Hotel
If you've ever wondered what would happen if a roguelike deck builder collided with a magical coin pusher, Cascadier has your answer, and it's pretty confusing.
On each run, you charge coins from your deck with elemental energy, then place them into dizzying pinball-like cabinets that will erupt in a chain reaction if you drop the coin just right. As you chase your divine reward, you'll be guided by the trickster Fortuna, the goddess of fortune, and her jealous brother Theodan.
Ten coins drop at the beginning of each round along with your acquired ability deck. Like any good coin pushing game, you'll scoop up coins during your rounds and then play them again to keep your score and tally of votes climbing. Once used up, the turn is over, so every throw counts. Reach your score goals to keep going, then choose new power sets to add to your growing deck and mix them up on your next run. You'll spend your hard-earned tickets to upgrade trinkets to gain new abilities and permanent enhancements. The demo lets you try out the first cabinet, a lush, nature-themed machine that hints at the fundamental power each new board will bring.
Elemental Brawl
Elemental Brawl is a multiplayer party game where you use the power of the elements to defeat your friends. At the beginning of each round everyone can only punch and kick, but as time goes on, random elemental orbs will drop. Collecting them gives you the power associated with that element, and you can combine elements as your turn continues. And the maps aren't static, you can use elements to burn them, freeze them, turn puddles into steam traps, and more. It's all about coming up with creative ways to eliminate your opponents.
foodie kitten
Chowdown Kitty is a simple yet addictive puzzle game that gives you a board full of cat treats. Connect three or more matching treats into a string, then pull the treats out and into your cat's food bowl. The more treats you manage to string together, the higher your score and the happier the cat will be.
