Forza Motorsport is “not more” anymore

Forza Motorsport Former employees claimed that the brutal Microsoft layoffs this week were greatly affected by this week's brutal Microsoft layoffs, reportedly causing damage to the Xbox's Sim Racing series.
Former Forza Motorsport content coordinator Fred Russell said the franchise team was “no longer” and the remaining 10 studio employees remained at the Washington-based company and now focused on supporting the Forza Horizon Series, which was developed primarily in the UK Outfit Playground game.
Russell in one book postal on Facebook. “It's a very sad day for one of the best racing video games. I love my time there.”
Russell responded to comments about the future of fleet 10, noting that “the studio is open to support the horizon” and that Microsoft “only closed the Forza Motorsport aspect.”
Chris Harding, another former 10-time studio employee, suggested “120 people” “disappear from the FM side.” IGN has contacted Microsoft for comment.
Turn 10 Studios' original Forza Motorsport launched for OG Xbox in 2005 and has made the series one of Microsoft's core gaming brands, as well as a serious rival to Playstation Gran Turismo. Seven Forza Motorsport sequels have since been launched, distributed in each Xbox console generation.
However, the original sim racing cars of the series are increasingly eclipsed by the success of Forza Horizon, a new, open world spin-off of the series that first debuted on the Xbox 360 in 2012. After active reception, the next decade saw four Forza Horizon sequels.

when Xbox Boss Phil Spencer recently confirmed that the next Forza champion will arrive in 2026it is widely believed that this means a new work in the Forza Horizon series, rather than a follow-up to the recent Forza Motorsport in 2023, the car's setup for the series restart, but A mixed response was initiated.
Now, Forza Motorsport is reportedly no longer and is not working in the 10th studio yet.
“Even without a future of the game, the legacy will remain.” Russell concluded.
