When and where will the Fortnite OG Butterfly event take place?

The butterfly event will take place on Saturday, November 8th at 11am PT/2pm ET during the Fortnite OG match. You need to arrive a few minutes early and head to the big cube next to Loot Lake in the center of the island. Epic recently added safe zones to live events, so you probably don't have to worry about players giving you pain during this time – but keep your eyes peeled in case you have to protect yourself.

What to expect from the Fortnite OG Butterfly event

The original version of the event was more complex than Fortnite's previous live events, as so far they were just events that didn't directly involve players. The Butterfly event, on the other hand, will allow players to get up close and personal with the cosmic butterfly for which the event is named. The new version of the activity may not be exactly the same as the old version. Every time Epic brings back an old live event in Fortnite OG, it adds some new details, and this one might be the same.
