fortniteThe biggest day of the year kicks off with a massive live event, and Chapter 6 concludes, if all goes well, Chapter 7 It will start soon. But in the meantime, Fortnite's servers are offline for maintenance and the deployment of the Chapter 7 update. There’s no mistake here—Fortnite is offline on purpose. But it shouldn't last long.
renew: The server came back online at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time. Chapter 7 has begun!
When does Fortnite Chapter 7 start?
In the past, the start of a new chapter would be accompanied by an extended period of downtime (such as a day or more), but now Epic prefers to treat new season and new chapter updates as regular mid-month patches. This means Fortnite will be offline for 4 to 7 hours, with Chapter 7 likely launching Saturday night, November 29th, probably around 5pm PT / 8pm ET– In other words, prime time.
However, we make no guarantees as these releases don't always go smoothly. Just a month ago, when The Simpsons season started, everything seemed fine after Fortnite maintenance ended, but an hour later, the servers crashed and the game was offline for a while. Another update earlier this year ended up taking Fortnite offline for a full day. But such events are rare, and most updates proceed smoothly.
When Chapter 7 launches, it will come with a pretty substantial battle pass, teased by Epic featuring Back to the Future's Marty McFly and Kill Bill's Beatrice “The Bride” Kiddo.
