As Epic promised in August when it revealed Gorillaz as the headline artist for the latest Fortnite Music Festival, Fortnite's new Music Pass doesn't have any celebrity-based skins. Instead, we have a handful of generic and rather unremarkable Fortnite skins, pictured above – Sedona on the left, who unlocks immediately when you purchase the Music Pass, and Jana Pastel, on the left, who unlocks at the end of the pass.
Fortunately, there's a trade-off. Since the pass doesn't include the new Icon skin, it comes with 6 licensed jams instead of the usual 4. However, there aren't any additional Epic original tracks. There are still only four this time around, although they're still free as usual – you can unlock them without buying a pass. Here is the list of licensed tracks in the Season 11 Music Pass:
- Doha Cat's Gorgeousness
- Fallout Boy Champions
- “Rocketman” by Elton John
- I love the rock music of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
- In My Room by Julia Wolfe
- Another life in white clothes
In addition to skins and new jam tracks, the pass also includes a host of instruments: two guitars, a bass, a microphone stand, a keyboard, and a drum set. Rewards for the pass include some instrument-based emotes, festive halos, loading screens, and back bling for each skin.
The new Music Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks or can be obtained by subscribing to Fortnite Crew. There are 30 levels, each requiring two levels – 60 account levels are required to reach the end. Mixtape Music Pass ends on November 29th.
