The last few Fortnite battle royale islands are based on real-life geography and ecosystems—Mediterranean Europe in Chapter 5, and Japan in Chapter 6. exist Chapter 7we have turned to North America, specifically the American Southwest. The Chapter 7 map includes major locations based on Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Area 51—in other words, it's Fortnite's San Andreas map.
It all starts in Butterwood, in the southwest part of New Island, which has its own version of the iconic Hollywood sign and palm-tree-lined streets. Nearby, you'll find the Sus Studios soundstage, and you can drive down the highway—yes, Fortnite's first four-lane highway is on this map—and visit the Sandy Strip casino. In the middle of the map you won't find Tilted Towers or any other cities. Instead, the center of the island is the Innoloop Laboratory, an Area 51-like place where people are conducting experiments at Zero Point.
But the highlight of the map is in the northeast, where you'll find a theme park called Wonkeeland, where you can ride a roller coaster — the first time Fortnite has had one since Chapter 3.
Unfortunately, there's no train on the island in Chapter 7, but there's actually something better: a hot air balloon. You can find several balloons floating around the island, and you can ride them to new places or use them as sniper lairs.
Fortnite’s Chapter 7 map looks really wild. Keep scrolling to get a better look at some of the island's key attractions.
