“Five Nights at Freddy's 2” limited edition steel box pre-order now available

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 just opened in theaters on its opening weekend, but fans of the series can already pre-order the sequel on 4K Blu-ray at: Amazon, Walmartand mine. this Limited edition tin box Pre-order on Amazon and Gruv for $38 ($44.25 on Walmart). If you're interested in adding this to your collection when it releases, you may need to get a pre-order. The original Steelbook version sold out before launch, as did the second Steelbook version.

If you still need to buy the original steelbook, you're in luck: Universal Pictures reprinted last year's edition ahead of the sequel's premiere. Five Nights at Freddy's Limited Edition Steel Box Launches December 2, available on Amazon for $33 (originally $35) $30 at Walmart. reprint vs. New Ultimate Collector's Editionavailable exclusively on Amazon, comes with different steel book boxes, metal posters, and more.

The four main animatronic characters of the “Five Nights at Freddy's 2” limited edition Steelbook peek behind the scenes at the audience. Naturally, Freddy Fazbear takes over the front cover, while the back cover shows off the withered fox. The interior artwork features Chica on the left and Bonnie on the right.

We'll update this story once we know more about the 4K Blu-ray version's technical specifications and list of special features. Considering the original film supports HDR10 and two surround sound tracks (Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1), we expect the sequel to at least meet those specs.

The Steelbook and standard 4K Blu-ray editions also come with a 1080p Blu-ray disc and Movies Anywhere Digital Edition coupon. The 1080p Blu-ray release also includes a digital copy.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 wasn't well received by critics, and that's one thing to say. The sequel is currently in 13% on the tomato meter and a 31/100 on GameSpot sister site Metacritic. So far, though, the response from viewers has been good. On Rotten Tomatoes, the popcorn score is 88%, which is actually slightly higher than the original. On Metacritic, the sequel received a “generally favorable” rating of 6.8/10.

To be fair, the 2023 film wasn't well received by critics either, but that didn't stop it from becoming one of the most successful video game adaptations of all time. Originally a Walmart exclusive, the Five Nights at Freddy's Steelbook Edition features cartoon-style character art of Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Foxy and Bonnie. Don't worry, Chica didn't lose the cupcake; the little animatronic pastry is located on the back of the box. The interior artwork is a collection of drawings on the walls of Freddy Fazbear's pizza from the movie.

The 4K Blu-ray disc supports HDR10 and two surround sound formats: Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1. The coupon for the digital version is Movies Anywhere, so you can download and watch it on any device. It also comes with a standard Blu-ray disc.

You will also receive a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and unlike the Steelbook version above, this version will not be reprinted.

The price of the Ultimate Collector's Edition is more than twice the price of the Steelbook Edition reprint.
