Final Fantasy fans can buy two physical Switch versions for half the price of digital versions

The stunning remasters of Final Fantasy X, X-2, and Final Fantasy XII are now available on Amazon at a discounted price for Nintendo Switch. this Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remastered Edition collect and Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age $25 each. These Final Fantasy remakes aren't always in stock at major retailers. Zodiac Age, in particular, is usually only sold by third-party sellers at a higher price. Amazon may have received new shipments thanks to the release of Final Fantasy Tactics: Chronicles of Ivalice, a game that takes place in the same world as Final Fantasy XII.

Final Fantasy XII ushered in a new era of experimentation for the mainline series. Square Enix took a big risk by ditching turn-based combat in favor of a real-time tactics system that's closer to Final Fantasy XI Online than previous single-player games in the series. Unsurprisingly, Final Fantasy XII was well-received by fans when it launched in 2006.

Today, however, Final Fantasy 12 is regarded as one of the pinnacles of the series. As mentioned, Final Fantasy XII takes place in Ivalice, and the vast scope of the open world is still impressive to this day. In many ways, Final Fantasy XII is essentially a single-player MMO.
