Final Fantasy 9th Anniversary Video quotes rumors of remake

In September 2021, a massive leak at NVIDIA showed several unceremonious projects, and a leaked title related to Square Enix has been officially confirmed in the years since the leak. That was a remake of Final Fantasy IX, which celebrates its 25th anniversary today – a milestone that Square Enix celebrates the rumor of these remakes with a new anniversary video.
pass VGCIt's a long video – from the iconic song melody from the FFIX soundtrack (a key moment starting from the ninth Final Fantasy adventure), the main characters Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and more Chili. The video ends with a new work by the team, which includes “Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary.”
The video exacerbates rumors of a remake that began with the NVIDIA leak, and many wonder if the project is still under development. Outstanding leaker Natethehate Comment on the resetera thread about videomentioned, maybe the remake may not come again.
As far as I know, as of the last check, it's still under development,” Natethehate's Comment read“But I need to do a new check to see a more current state – as I heard a month or so ago, this is troublesome and may be cancelled. I only have one source of cancellation possibility and need further verification of the information.”
Square Enix has not commented on the project since the rumored project first mentioned in the NVIDIA leak. However, of the eight square ENIX games listed in the leak, seven of them have been announced or released – the most recent confirmation is Final Fantasy Tactics: The Chronicle of Evilis In a PlayStation Statement last month.
