In October, Bethesda announced Fallout 4 Anniversary Editionan updated version of the game was released 10 years ago this month. The game was supposed to be the final version, but there was a massive backlash against Fallout 4 due to numerous bugs and other issues. Now, Bethesda is releasing the November update and looking forward to the December update.
Bethesda shared the patch notes on social media. The message doesn't directly address the negative reaction to Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, but it does thank players for their “ongoing communication with us about your current Fallout 4 experience.” The development team noted that the patch focuses on DLC installation issues, occasional crashes, and general user experience.
The team added that they still plan to add a mod storage expansion to the console version of Fallout 4. However, developers say it will take more time before the feature is ready for release. Beyond that, the team promises to share details about the December patch in a few weeks.
In addition, the developer also promised that “several Fallout 4 titles will be made available to players for free,” including the first title, “The Varmint Rifle.” To get the gun when it arrives next week, players will have to fall down a manhole before discovering the unique rifle, solving a series of puzzles, and fighting their way out of enemy territory.
The release date for Fallout 4's November patch has yet to be announced. You can find the full patch notes below.
