Fairy Tail: The 100-year mission season will be coming to Blue Light this fall

Fairy Tail is a popular comic and anime series that ranged from the mid-2000s to the original show in the 2010s, and a new sequel series begins shortly after the legend ends. Fairy Tail: The 100-year mission has been in print since 2018, but it hasn't been anime adaptation until recently. In case you missed it, the good news is that you can pre-order the upcoming Blu-ray release before the $80 release on November 4 Amazon and crunchyroll. The full season of this edition also appears in a stylish steel book box, which includes the fairy tale tail on the cover.

The year after the war with the Alvarez Empire and the destruction of the evil black dragon acnologia, Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Mission See Natsu Dragneel and his allies take an ambitious mission to seal the five dragon gods. The Blu-ray release contains all 25 episodes, four records and 1080p from the first season, as well as Japanese and English audio options. For other content, there are clean credit sequences, Interquel reviews episodes and promotional videos.

If you're new to the fairy tale tail world, you'll also need to check out the original series. Created and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, the series follows Natsu and his eclectic friends in the Land of Magical Wizards, who quests the guild and tangle with Dark Wizards. While the series isn't groundbreaking and may be slightly derived, it's still a consistent and fun show thanks to its quirky characters, well-paced action, and ubiquitous emotionally heavy plot.
The best way to view the original comics is to do 545 chapters of 63 volumes through the currently available comic box set. Each collects about 11 paperbacks and comes with an exclusive sticker sheet and a box to store it in it. Pricing ranges from $60-$80 per discounted collection.

The original fairy tale also received its own anime adaptation. All 328 episodes of the show are available on Blu-ray, including Japanese with English subtitles and English dubbing, as well as some special features such as clean credit sequences and promotional materials. Collections one to ten also come with DVD copies of the series, but from Collection 11these are changed to a combination of Blu-ray and digital streaming codes.
