F1: The movie will be on Blu-ray on October 7

Formula One has been popular in the U.S. in the past few years, partly because of the Netflix series (such as Drive to Servive to Survive to Drive), which is just a matter of time the sport goes to the big screen. The standard 4K Blu-ray release uses one of the F1 movie posters. One thing to note here is that this version does not come with a standard Blu-ray copy of the movie, but does come with a digital streaming code. This version includes bonus material with the same choice.

For the standard Blu-ray version, the 1080p version of F1 also has the same special features as the 4K version and digital streaming code. The cover is also based on one of the posters of F1: The movie, featuring Pitt's front and center while being several other key characters.

Finally, the DVD version is the standard defined version of F1: Movies. The cover is based on another movie poster that caught the attention of Pitt as he posed in front of the F1 car. The DVD version does not list special features.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Mavericks), F1: This film tells the story of former F1 driver Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt). He walked out on the sport after a massive crash in the 90s, and Hayes spent thirty years among nomadic racers. After his former F1 racing partner Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem) offered him the opportunity to join the F1 team, Hayes made a offer as his goal was to prove himself that he was capable of competing at the highest level.
The only question? There are only a few games left this season, the APXGP team is multi-million dollar debt, and the attitude of its rookie driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) conflicts with Hayes' old-fashioned attitude and skills. If they want to end the season and save APXGP from the financial ruin, they have to learn teamwork.
At the global box office, F1: The film received an impressive $623 million. Critics praised the film’s ensemble cast and authenticity, just as it was filmed in 2023 and 2024 F1 seasons. This means many real-life F1 drivers are in it, including champions like Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. To add to the film's more authenticity, F1 commentators Martin Brundle and David Croft provided comments for the film's match, which were shot on Real Grand Prix Tracks.
Apart from the details, F1: The movie is also done well to make you feel the driver's seat. Kosinksi once again worked with photographer Claudio Miranda to create several amazing shots from behind the steering wheel, and the risks of each game are too real as the film's cast pushes the story forward as well. Adding all of this is the score of famous composer Hans Zimmer, which is perfect for the highly technical nature of modern Formula One racing.
