The Mortal Kombat series has been launched (and withdrawing bloody human interiors) for decades. It crosses Twenty entries and many gaming platforms. This is a cultural giant. To celebrate the history of this super violent fighting game franchise, Insight Editions will release a new book on October 21. It's called Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory – the visual history of Ian Flynn's iconic series, now available for reservation (now available for reservation) (See it on Amazon).
The book is full of behind-the-scenes artwork, from the conceptual stage to the final product. You'll take a closer look at beloved characters like Scorpion, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, and Sub-Zero, as well as the stages and environments that make up the series. It also has exclusive interviews with the development team that are covering what is needed to design a series like Mortal Kombat.
