Everything you need to know about the 2025 Delta Force Invitational: War

Delta Force will end the year with a bang at the 2025 Delta Force Invitational: War, which will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam from December 11-14, 2025. This marks the first tournament dedicated to the game's War Mode, where teams from around the world will duke it out in 20 vs. 20 War for a $200,000 prize pool.

Development team Jade emphasized that this year is just the beginning, and the goal is to develop Delta Force into a globally recognized e-sports game. In September, the Delta Force Combat Invitational put the evacuation format in the spotlight, with the Chinese powerhouse Q9 team victorious. Now, the competitive scene shifts focus to the high-stakes War mode, where fans can look forward to an epic showdown on a massive scale.

The Invitational will see teams compete in War Mode over four days of top-level competition.

Delta Force's War Mode is a large-scale, team-based PvP experience focused on capturing or defending objectives across a vast map. It features joint combat with infantry, tanks, and vehicles such as helicopters, as well as unique operator classes that encourage teamwork and strategic roles.

The tournament will be played in a double-elimination format, meaning an initial loss does not end a team's run. Instead, it pushed them into the lower bracket with a chance to fight back. The top teams in each category will advance to the grand finals.

Teams earn their spots through regional qualifiers and independent tournaments, which are the official path to the global finals. The tournament is a true showcase of international talent, with teams from all over the world competing.

A $200,000 prize pool will be distributed among all eight finalists, with prize amounts adjusted based on ranking.

• third place: USD 30,000
• Fourth place: $24,000
• Fifth to sixth place: USD 13,000 per person
• 7th to 8th place: USD 10,000 each
