“Edward Scissorhands” Steelbook Edition 4K Blu-ray Disc Just in Time for Halloween

Tim Burton has created a string of wonderful films, but few are as highly regarded as Edward Scissorshands, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Disney and 20th Century Fox are finally releasing the film on 4K Blu-ray for the first time Edward Scissorhands Limited Edition Iron Box Launched on October 28th. This new steelbook edition includes a 4K Ultra HD version of the film along with a few extra features. The pre-order price on Amazon is $41.49. As with most limited edition steelbooks, we expect this one to be very popular, so it's worth securing your copy ahead of release.

The Edward Scissorhands Limited Edition steel box contains a new 4K Ultra HD version of the film, as well as additional standard Blu-ray and digital formats. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and there are some nice extras, including a commentary track from Tim Burton himself. The new steelbook features a close-up of Edward Scissorhands (Johnny Depp) on the cover and a close-up of Kim Boggs (Winona Ryder) on the back.

If you don't want to wait for the new 4K Steelbook to be released, “Edward Scissorhands: 25th Anniversary” Blu-ray is also available $8.95. It doesn't come with a 4K presentation and a steel box, but it does have its own unique packaging and unique cover art.
