Dunes: Awakening Developer Funcom said it won't be released on the console until some point in 2026.
Survival MMO is scheduled to be launched on PC on June 10, and hopefully the console version will not lag far behind. But it sounds like fans are waiting longer than expected.
Funcom failed to expand on why Survival MMO was delayed on consoles, only in a press release that although the game will be “to PlayStation and Xbox”, the release is expected to be released “sometimes in 2026.”
However, the team was able to confirm that Dune: Awaken Season Pass is now live, offering the wildlife of Arrakis DLC, which boasts four in-game statues that celebrate some of the most “stubborn” creatures on Earth: Sandworm, Chiroptera, Chiroptera, Kulon and Muad'dib.
Over the course of next year or so, three other DLCs were scheduled (expected Q4 2025 1, Q2 2026 2, and the other is Q2 2026 2 – free updates among those bringing “new content, features and enhancements”. Funcom also strengthens its commitment to “no subscription fees or microtransactions.”
We are still reviewing the Dunes: Awakening. Although we haven't scored yet, we still have some impression of the marksmanship. Our commenter wrote: “After over 35 hours, I still feel like I'm entering the dunes very early: the adventure of waking up, there are still new areas to visit, not very far yet, and only a few encounters with PVP. At some point in my life, I can update at some point.”
You know you can (something) ride a sandworm in a dune: Wake up after all? It turns out that if you're super patient and don't mind some screen playback or trimming through assets, If you have the right equipment, you can do this. This is the method.
To help you survive on Arrakis, we have Dunes: Awakening Resource Guide This will help you find iron,,,,, steel,,,,, aluminumand more.
