Devolver physical games like Brave Squire are cheap on Black Friday

Devolver Digital's insanely cute storybook adventure The Plucky Squire is on sale at a new low price Early Black Friday Sales exist Amazon and best buy. this Spinner Deluxe Edition The Switch and PS5 are on sale for just $25 (originally $40), while the standard physical version is only $15 (originally $25). The collectible deluxe edition comes packaged in an oversized box and includes a 108-page art book and digital soundtrack. Both physical editions launched in February and are priced higher ($55 for the Deluxe, $35 for the Standard), so you're paying less than half the original cost of either edition.

If you're not familiar with The Plucky Squire, it's an adventure game that mixes several genres, including top-down action-adventure, side-scrolling platformer, and more. It originally launched on digital storefronts last September, but physical versions weren't ready until earlier this year.

Plucky Squire is a game that almost makes also The treatment of art books makes sense. After all, the game has the same name as the in-game book.

You play as Choate, a character from the Brave Squire books where the game takes place. Unfortunately, Choate was kicked out of his home by Humgrump. This establishes The Plucky Squire's unique visual and gameplay style. The Brave Squire blends hand-drawn 2D and colorful 3D graphics to take Jot on adventures both outside and inside the book. It's an ambitious debut game from independent studio All Maybe Futures. The studio was co-founded by former Pokemon art director James Turner and Jonathan Beadle, who served as creative director on another hand-drawn Zelda indie game, The Swords of Ditto.
