Devil May Cry: The first trailer for Season 2 has been revealed, showing what more fans can expect from producer and entertainer Adi Shankar's animation show on Cult-Classic Capcom Games. This time, Devil Crying is using one of the best tricks in the game as it adds Dante’s brother Vergil to the anime-style universe. The new season will be launched on Netflix in 2026you can view the first trailer below.
The first season of Devil Plum Crying set the stage for the brewing war between humans and the realm of demons, ending at a very outrageous end with the Second Gulf War in 2003. Back in June, Shankar talked about the difference between Season 2 and the first, explaining that Dante will start upgrading and developing in this new episode.
“His skills have improved and you’ll see him embracing more fans of the game’s iconic bad things,” he said. Shanka said. “That is, I'm still telling a story, and not only do great characters win — they grow. But what Dante is compelling is not that he is unstoppable — but that he learns and keeps getting stronger.”
The new trailer hints at Dante's growth after being teased at the end of the first season, and it seems Vergil will be ready to put his brother's skills into practice. The trailer also gave up on some scenes, including Lady, and the U.S. military force Darkcom will waste in the realm of demons and some stylish action sequences.
