Cyberpunk 2077 sequel project Orion has Night City and another city that feels like “Chicago goes wrong” and Mike Pondsmith teases

CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, codename Project Orionis a strict secret, but that didn't stop Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith from laughing at some previously unknown details.

Pondsmith worked closely with CD Projekt on Cyberpunk 2077, which sold in 2077 and was involved in promoting the game before its 2020 launch, and was asked about his scope of involvement with Project Orion Digital Dragon 2025 Conference.

Replying that Pondsmith admitted he was not involved this time, but he did review the script and went to CD Projekt to check on the work ongoing.
