The Transformers series has been around for decades, and although the original 1984 animated series was a portal to enter the franchise, many fans still have a great love for the comic books that followed. Transformers Compendium One collects issues 1 to 44 in the classic Marvel Comics series, which lasted 80 issues from 1984 to 1991.

Marvel Comics initially envisioned Transformers as four mini-series, but when it proved to be very popular, the comic turned into an ongoing series. Bob Budiansky named a number of Transformers characters when Toy Brand released the United States, and he served as a key writer in the comics series. Budiansky joined with several other influential writers, including Simon Furman.
The original Transformers comic series helped flesh out the knowledge and characters of the series, which remains the influential Transformers media today.

Written by Daniel Warren Johnson and illustrated by Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer, this modern series has been hit hard by fans and critics. The new 296-page Deluxe Edition collects the first 12 issues (two story arcs) in hardcover format.
Like the previous Transformers adaptation, the series tells the story of the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons that continue on Earth, reimagining the original G1 continuity to create surprising and shocking moments. The series won the prestigious Eisner Award last year for its art and writing.
