Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was nominated for 12 Game Awards, the most in the award's history

Somehow the end of the year is back and it's time for a slew of award nominations and awards ceremonies, including this year's The Game Awards. Ahead of the awards show in early December, The Game Awards has released its list of this year's nominees, revealing who everyone really, really, really real Like “Claire Obusk: The 33rd Expedition”.

“Expedition 33” received a whopping 12 nominations, which is the most nominations for a single game in the history of The Game Awards. In addition to Game of the Year, it's also up for Best Director, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, Best Audio, Best Indie Game, Best Debut Indie Game, Best Role-Playing Game, with three actors nominated for Best Performance.

Other games also received a lot of nominations, such as Death Stranding 2 (seven nominations), Hades II (six nominations), Hollow Knight: Silk Song (five nominations), and Ramos (seven nominations).

The Game Awards will air digitally on December 11, 2025 at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET, where we'll find out all the winners and see the usual video game trailers, commercials, musical guests, possibly the Muppets, and more.
