Call of Duty veteran says the franchise is like the Simpsons – “It feels like you've run out of ideas sometimes”

As one of the developers doing the original work call of Duty Back in the early 2000s, Glasco Chance wanted to know if the behemoth FPS series had run out of ideas. Glasco, a veteran and one of the original members of the Infinity Ward, said he stopped playing cod – although he does love it War Zone.

In an interview with Tulsa, Oklahoma News 9Glasco shared his role as 23 Developers Leaving Medal of Honor 2015, Inc. One of the experiences for the newly formed Infinity Ward to be summoned. “We knew we could do a really good game,” Glasco said. “Activity gives us the freedom to do things we can't get the Medal of Honor, but it's still a new franchise.”

Call of Duty was not an instant hit when it was released in 2003. Instead, the words took some time to spread. “There wasn’t a big surge in immediate sales,” Glasco recalls. “With the call, it just climbed gradually. Multiplayer really attracted people, and over time, it became huge.”

However, for Glasco, the now dominant franchise may have become too big or have been in its own interests for too long. “It's almost like the Simpsons – it's been around for so long that it feels like they've run out at times. It's kind of like left field, but I still love playing Warzone.”

Glasco added: “I spent more time making World War II games, actually in World War II in World War II, so moving to the modern setting was refreshing.

Call of Duty receives new theme releases every year and has been following this release pattern since 2005. The series now also has several ongoing live service games War Zone,,,,, Warzone's mobile portand Call of Duty: Mobile. The most recent major cod release was Black Ops 6 last October.
