Call of Duty players are abusing controversial cardboard boxes to perform solid snake style

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone have a new premium emoji that lets you hide in the cardboard box – players are abusing it, of course.
Call of Duty has seen a fair share of microtransactions called paid wins in the community. The infamous Roze skin is hard to see and eventually changed by the battle of the Royal War Zone. Call of Duty developer has recently finally changed the Terminator skin for similar reasons. But this cardboard box performance is probably the most rewarding win among them.
It is part of the premium 2400 Cod Cardboard Commando bundle that turns your soldiers and weapons into cardboard. At first glance, it must be a preference for Call of Duty’s silly skin. But it's the surprising gift expression included in the bundle that has attracted multiple eyebrows in the summoning community.

That's because these expressions literally leave you hiding in a cardboard box and then jumping out after a few seconds. As you can imagine, this might help you on the battlefield, such as on-demand hunting props. It confuses people, especially in Warzone, how this might allow this summon, which could end up being as much as hiding and having to do with killing.
One player, Dr. Chubzdpt on X/Twitter, showed some Call of Duty cardboard box abuse in the video and along with the post: “Abuse of the worst expressions in Warzone's history.”

The performance volume is not just about metal gear solids. In Hideo Kojima's famous single-player stealth series, Solid Snake can famously walk around in cardboard boxes, making the unquestioned unsuspecting defender seem unwise.
But, in the competitive multiplayer summoning series, this is another story, where some say this cardboard box has no place in the game. It is worth pointing out that others say it’s fun and that the cardboard itself is big enough to stand out.
“Literally, no one should fall onto a huge cardboard box,” X/Twitter user part timer said. “But it's fun.” X/Twitter user Steamytycoon commented, “I'm shooting every box.”
Warzone recently launched Return to Verdansk, usually speaking in a good place, fans love the nostalgia return, back to the map where it all started. Check IGN conducted a comprehensive interview with developers behind Verdansk to see how they develop.
