Borderlands 4 is the largest border area for steam one hour after launch

Borderlands 4 is now released on PC Global releases on all platformsand on Steam, it has hit the most gameplay rankings with a larger number of concurrent players than all other border games.

At the time of this article, Gearbox’s robbery shooter had more than 148,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it the sixth game on the Valve platform. In the context, Borderlands 2 set a 124,678 Steam Peak concurrent player count 13 years ago, while Borderlands 3 peaked at 93,820 five years ago, while Borderlands: The Pre-Secterland 10 years ago reached 68,238. The peak of the best game of the year is 23,655.
