Stadium won 7 new heroes this summer
When new injury hero Freja joins its limited roster, the game will launch the stadium in the mid-season of Season 16, but it's season 17 in June, it will indeed kick a gap. Junkrat, Sigma and Zenyatta will be added to the list of playable heroes in the strategic multiplayer mode at this time and will join them with the Esperança Push Map and Samoa Control Map.
Blizzard will also use this time to further enrich the way the stadium works, adding options such as unqualified crossover games, new All-Star rewards, custom games, other example builds, and save and share builds. It is unclear whether all heroes and features will reach the beginning of Season 17 or whether the entire season will be released.
Season 18 will feature Overwatch’s gorilla icon Winston as playable characters, with Sojourn and Brigitte joining. Route 66 and London maps will also be added to the pool, and the payload race mode will also come with two new maps, a stadium trial function, and finally acknowledge teammates’ freedom.
The transparency of the snowstorm to the stadium development is accompanied by guarantees, with “Overwatch 2’s existing roster” and “Multiple New Heroes” of “Unrevealed Characters” all added to the mode every season.
