if you decide to play Arclight Guide On PC, you'll have access to several menus in Settings that console players won't have access to. From the first time you launch the game, you'll be able to find and change the key bindings and mouse settings menu, both of which will, of course, have a huge impact on your gameplay.
While you can leave the default options without customizing any settings, this may put you at a disadvantage compared to other PC players who have dialed-in settings. To ensure you're using the best keybindings and mouse settings in Arc Raiders, check out the guide below, which is just one of several Arc Strategy Tips We recommend.
Best Keybindings in Arc Raiders
Let's start with keybindings, as this is one of the first menus you'll see after entering settings (labeled “Controls”). Unlike some other extraction games or multiplayer shooters, Arc Raiders keeps it fairly simple when it comes to keybindings. You only need to change a few key keybindings, but these keybindings play a huge role in your survival in a gunfight with your enemies.
Below, you can see all the keybindings in Arc Raiders and our recommended settings for each one:
- go ahead:W
- move backward:S
- move left: one
- move right😀
- fire/throw/show: Left mouse button
- Purpose: Right mouse button
- Jump: space bar
- Sprint (hold): Shift left
- Crouch (press and hold): Left Ctrl or C
- Crouch (switch): Left Ctrl or C
- dodge roll: Mouse Button 4/5 or Left Alt (if no mouse button)
- Walk (toggle):five
- mutual influence:E or F (depending on preference)
- reload weapon:R
- shoulder exchange:X
- Weapon 1: 1
- Weapons 2: 2
- melee weapons: 3
- Unarmed/holstered weapons: 4
- next weapon: Mouse wheel up
- Previous weapon: Mouse wheel down
- project: ask
- flashlight:E or F (depending on your Interact keybinding)
- access inventory: tab
- map:M or Caps Lock
- flat: middle mouse button
- expression:G
- push to talk: tons
- Push to talk (close range chat): Second
- Ping Hear/Expression Loudness:H

We didn't change too many of the default keybindings in Arc Raiders, but we did give you a few options, some of which we did change. For example, the dodge scrolling mechanism works great if your mouse has a mouse button on the side, but left Alt will also work well. We also swapped the “unarmed” keybinding for “4” because it's easier to remember considering you can use the previous three number keybindings to bring out other weapons.
Best Mouse Settings in Arc Raiders
Now, let's cover the mouse settings in Arc Raiders, which boil down to your sensitivity options. If you want to further customize your mouse and sensitivity, you should use whatever mouse software is installed on your PC. This allows you to fine-tune DPI, disable mouse smoothing/acceleration, and set hotkeys if desired.
Below, you can see our recommended mouse settings in Arc Raiders:
- Invert vertical appearance input: leave
- horizontal sensitivity:65-70
- vertical sensitivity:50
- Zoom sensitivity multiple: 75%
- Range zoom sensitivity multiplier:85%

We decided to increase the horizontal sensitivity by 15-20 from the default value. Having higher horizontal sensitivity can allow you to spin faster if you're being shot by an enemy behind you, or catch a spider rushing towards you before you die quickly and suddenly.
Next, the zoom sensitivity multiplier has been reduced by 25% for more precise aiming, while the scope zoom sensitivity multiplier has also been reduced, but not by much. You still want to be able to move relatively quickly when using a large scope, but you also don't want your sensitivity to be so fast that you skip right over the target when aiming down the scope.
Of course, these sensitivity values may need to be changed based on the mouse's core DPI. Before you try to fiddle with the mouse settings in Arc Raiders, you'll want to make sure you have it dialed in. If your mouse DPI is already in a good place, try using our sensitivity values as a baseline and work up or down from there.
