Battlefield 6's XP farming via portal lobbies explodes as players complain about slow progression system

It took less than a week Battlefield 6 Players started making portal lobbies for XP farming – some thought EA had caught on.
Fans were quick to point out that the progression system in the new FPS game launched last week was a bit cumbersome. While most people come away from each multiplayer match satisfied with Battlefield Studio's well-crafted set, even some of the most passionate fans feel that leveling up takes too long, and the experience is further diminished by an unrewarding weapon unlocking system and difficult challenges.
Battlefield 6's unlocking process is generally too slow.
I understand it's challenging to get the best stuff for players, but I'm concerned about how long it will take to level up a few guns to the proper attachment level, and I'm a committed player.

“Do they really think players have that much time and energy to grind endlessly just to get the rewards we so rightly deserve?” one player asked in a Reddit post. “So tired.”
With just days to go until launch, many players are already finding the drudgery unbearable – especially for casual fans – but that's where Portal comes in. First introduced in 2021's Battlefield 2042, DIY mode allows players to create almost any match or mode they can dream up. The right build can even allow portal users to gain experience as if they were playing a standard multiplayer game, so, naturally, it only took a few days for the XP farm servers to appear.
Content creators like alex game, CAD womanand Immortalthey are just a few of the many spreading the word, recommending specific portal lobbies for quick upgrades. Most of the relevant lobbies are filled with bots, but still stay close enough to standard Battlefield 6 mode to not change the rate at which XP is gained. Players are then typically instructed to use double XP tokens (if available) and kill AI/bot enemies near the target to effectively gain XP.
Long before Battlefield 6 came along, people were eager to level up through a demanding progression system, so the XP farm servers in Portal quickly became overrun with impatient fans. However, some doubt EA is just as fast.
As more and more XP farm lobbies fill up the Portal Community Browser, players are finding themselves encountering “Global Game Quota Exceeded” messages with little to no explanation. This leads fans to believe that EA and BF Studios have begun cracking down on suspected lobby groups to prevent supporters from taking advantage of Battlefield 6 and its Portal toolkit.
The bug will certainly prevent some XP farmers from continuing to receive the returns they want, but it's unclear if the messages are the result of directly throwing cold water on farming. Portal players have Report message received Regardless of their lobby reception intentions. Some are even unable to launch hosted servers at all, suggesting that the Battlefield 6 portal servers may simply be in trouble It attracted a large number of players after its launch last week. Neither EA or BF Studios have revealed any plans to eliminate XP mining.
It's unclear why the “Global Game Offer Exceeded” message pops up around the user-generated community tab, but that doesn't mean the popularity of XP farming isn't at play. Battlefield 6's progression system has been widely criticized, causing servers to overflow from players hoping to unlock content as quickly as possible. Some dedicated Portal creators suspect that such a large number of personal lobbies doesn't exactly help smooth the Battlefield 6 online experience.
Battlefield 6 launched on October 10 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, and has quickly grown into EA's long-running series has most successful Steam launch everthe peak number of concurrent users exceeds 740,000.
