Battlefield 6 Players are swapping theories about Easter eggs and future updates after a fan discovered a mysterious hidden room in a shooting gallery.
Reddit users begin speculating about EA and Battlefield Studios' secret room Mobile_Cyberdemon_as Share Video Their characters cut to a previously undiscovered hidden area. This unlit space is hidden behind a cramped weapons testing chamber, with only a sealed door – with a red “Door Closed” sign – hinting at its presence.
After a few minutes of experimenting on the PlayStation 5 (and a lot of awkward crouching), we were able to recreate the moment seen in the clip and confirm that the hidden Battlefield 6 room exists. Unfortunately, we can also confirm that this mysterious hideout is pretty boring, as it contains nothing but a workbench and an empty gun rack.
It's easy to look at areas like this and assume they're just unfinished assets left on the cutting room floor, but fans have other ideas.
Battlefield 6 only launched a few weeks ago, so there's no way of knowing what BF Studios planned when they snuck this room behind a shooting range. However, a few details give players enough ammunition to start formulating theories about what the hidden room is and what it could be.
“Judging from the gate, this is a vehicle hangar under construction,” one fan theorizing. “I hope they eventually add a real shooting range and not just a room.”
Other Battlefield 6 fans too Proposed theory related to range extensionhoping that if this hidden room is not an official vehicle testing area, it will become an official vehicle testing area in the future. The community has been showing interest in this add-on for some time, as players have spent weeks since its release learning how to get off the ground using precious helicopter and jet spawns.
other Popular theories suggest This room could have been used as a slightly smaller shooting range upgrade, allowing players to quickly try out different weapons and attachments. Commenters even Consider bringing a flashlight attachment into a hidden room Look for battlefield Easter eggs that may have been secretly placed by BF Studio.
Many of the ideas surrounding Battlefield 6's mysteries stem from players' desires to see them come to fruition. It's definitely possible that the Shooting Range Mystery is an Easter egg, unfinished feature, or a future content update, but it's also possible that players have been observing this room long before Mobile_Cyberdemon_as discovered it.
“You can see the striped background in the custom weapons screen,” one popular fan theories. “I think that’s why the shooting range loads so quickly, because you’re actually in it the whole time.”
“My assumption is that when you're in the menu you're actually just in that room, your view is locked to the UI, and different walls or areas act as backgrounds for certain screens in the menu system,” another Player added.
