BF Studios has revealed that the Battlefield 6 California Offensive update will bring a new map called Eastwood, new weapons, and a new mode. We now know that the mid-season update will also address five key elements of the experience: weapon dispersion/bloom, lighting adjustments, challenge clarity, Lindenburg in portals, and aim assist.
Weapon dispersion and weapon bloom continue to be one of the hottest topics among Battlefield 6 Online players, as they affect the accuracy of each weapon based on various factors in the game. BF Studios says they've made “a small adjustment that reduces the rate at which dispersion and recoil build up during sustained fire.” The tweaks apply to all weapons, most of which also benefit from recoil improvements, with the developers hoping players' weapons will “feel smoother and more consistent, especially at longer ranges.”

These include additional challenge adjustments, UI and menu improvements, player statistics, social play, hit registration/netcode, overall vehicle experience, and even map dimensions.
“We've seen your comments about map size and pacing. Battlefield is at its best when maps offer different ways to play and constant action around every corner. Achieving balance is always a priority, and we're committed to delivering a variety of map types in future seasons. As Eastwood arrives in the California Resistance update, we'll continue to monitor existing maps and modes for targeted adjustments (as planned) winter offensive) and also learn Community authoring in Portal“.

It's like, 'Oh, what do you guys think of this?' It's crazy. It's a joy to watch, and I think it's going to get better and better as they get more familiar with the tools and we give them more things to play with.”
Many popular REDSEC elements are also under review, including audio performance, casual battle royale mode, armor and tank usability. Another option BF Studios is looking into revolves around a single-player battle royale experience, and how such an option could apply to Battlefield 6 and its spin-off battle royale games.
