EA and Battlefield Studios have previewed some gameplay and Battlefield 6 Day 1 patch.
Information about the first patch of the long-awaited back-to-case battlefield game this week is outlined in an article Its official website today. The team’s breakdown is accompanied by explanations as how their pre-prematch Battlefield Labs and Beta tests help them prepare for the release, the first Battlefield 6 patch sets a more stable foundation.
Those who played Battlefield 6 Open in August will notice several basic changes in the dice, standards, ripple effects and motivation to develop the game feel. Today’s first introduction to Battlefield 6 update is just a taste of what’s coming, with a full patch notes of over 200 changes to be made later this week.
The BF Studios team said the highest point of the list is to make exercise responsive faster, including fixes to solve “multiple exercise problems” and changes to pacing. The weapon attachment should also be displayed correctly throughout the Battlefield 6 experience, and one of the patches is expected to rebalance the automatic weapon, which makes long-range gunfire more meaningful for tap-type shooting and burst control.
Beta players will also be happy to hear that Rush and Breaktrough have been redesigned to improve the balance between offense and defending teams. The widgets in Battlefield 6 will also be changed in the patch for the first day. For example, MBT-law is now set as the default engineer launcher, while MAS 148 is now behaving more realistic, and the updated deployment beacon has been updated to limit one spawn per player.
While Battlefield Day 6 patches also promise updated UI and HUD elements, cleaner audio, improved network stability and more, today’s post also offers updates to one of the most intense topics in the community: Open vs. Closed Weapons. The closed lock takes the gun to a specific category, while the open-ended allows each category to use a variety of different weapon types. While many fans want to see the BF Studios team leaning on closed courses on Battlefield 6, the team insists in today’s post that “the vast majority of players” prefer open courses.
“Finally, another key insight from the open beta is that the vast majority of players have tried both playlist types and choose to stick with open weapons,” BF Studios said. “This intensifies our belief that open weapons are the right way to Battlefield 6. At the same time, we recognize that some players prefer a closed weapon experience. To support them, an official closed weapon playlist will be available at launch.
“In addition, closed weapon mutators will remain part of the portal tool set so players can create and share their own custom experiences.”
