Atari 7800+ only $60 Golden Day, including new cartridge games

Atari builds the 7800+ as a modern and compact version of the iconic retro console. It connects to your TV via HDMI, playing Atari 7800 and 2600 cartridges and use original trolleys and modern versions (such as Pack-In Game) Bentley Bear's Crystal Mission. This is the sequel to Crystal Castles, a classic 1983 Arcade game. Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest is an excellent side-scrolling platformer, sold separately for $30.
The 7800+ comes with a modern wireless version of the CX78 GamePad. It has two facial buttons and a movable stick that can be slotted in the center of the D-Pad, allowing for the choice of the preferred method of movement. It charges via USB-C and can be fully charged for 25 hours. Extra CX78+ wireless game controller Sold separately for $35, but unfortunately Amazon sold out.
If you own the Atari 2600+ and have been following the CX78+ and Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest, you'll be spending five dollars more than the two on the 7800+ consoles.

The Atari 2600+ was launched in 2023 for $130. It still maintains the price outside of limited-time sales, such as Prime Day.
Since both consoles can play the same game – they are basically the same from an internal technology standpoint – you paid $30 for the aesthetics. Granted, the 2600 with a wood-green front panel is the iconic look.

Atari released the CX40+ with the 7800+ console last holiday. If you have 2600+ and want to upgrade to a wireless controller, now is a good time to buy one.

If you don't have any old Atari cartridges in your storage bin somewhere, there are more and more newly made 2600 and 7800 cartridges, each for $30 each. The lineup has a reprint of classic title Ninja Golf 7800new versions like Supper Platform Games Mr. Run jumps 2600and even several enhanced versions of the game from Atari's heyday, e.g. Asteroid luxury 7800. Asteroid Deluxe was originally made by fans before it was officially released, with new game features and overhaul visuals.
