Assassin's Creed: Shadow There may be a chance to go into the Nintendo Switch 2, and Ubisoft executives may have just confirmed that.
In today's quarterly earnings call, CEO Yves Guillemot and CFO Frederick Duguet combine their powers to provide many subtle rather than so subtle hints and statements about Assassin's Creed: Shadows, when combined, it's hard to read that we released Game 2 at some point in this FISS year.
First, Duguet mentioned that Ubisoft's lineup for the current fiscal year (end at the end of March 2026) includes, among other things, “several other titles” will be “announced later”.
On the same call, he also answered an investor question, saying, “We also have a game that will be launched on the Switch 2.” Although we already know Star Wars: Outlaws is about to enter Switch 2Duguet is talking about the game “beyond the announced release”, so it's clear that there's at least one more game.
Later in the call, Guillemot added another piece to the puzzle. In a dedicated conversation with another person about Assassin's Creed, he said: “Shadow: “We'll also release some new versions on other machines. ”
Currently, Assassin's Creed: Shadows are available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC and Mac, as well as Geforce Now and Amazon Luna. Now, Guillemot might refer to other platforms, such as the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, or even mobile devices. But the most possible Probably he means Nintendo Switch 2, especially when combined with Duguet's comments.
Of course, some investors think it's the same as us. The last question on the call, ask directly whether the Nintendo Switch 2 is declaring a shadow.
But here, Duguet finally dances around it. “We haven’t said what other games will appear on that console that year.”
Rumors of this effect have been in monthsAfter Assassin's Creed: The Shadow of Nintendo Switch 2 gets a Nail Rating. While this may be just a mistake, it's just another brick in the installation tower, and the evidence suggests that the shadow will enter Nintendo's system over the next eight months or so.
We really like Assassin's Creed: Shadows when we review it at the time of release. Our reviewer gave it 8/10“By sharpening the edges of its existing system, Assassin's Creed Shadow has created one of the best versions of the open-world style that has been honed over the past decade,” said the company.
