Assassin's Creed: Shadows gets Titan Quest free limited-time attack

It’s real in anime Assassin's Creed Shadows” version of Feudal Japan, the game’s latest free-to-play update introduces missions based on Attack on Titan. However, players will only have a limited time to experience the eerie Crystal Cave and discover its secrets, as the AoT missions will only be available from November 25th to December 22nd.

The new mission takes protagonists Naoe and Yasuke to the mysterious Crystal Cave, where dark experiments may bring a new kind of threat to feudal Japan. Explore the depths of the cave to stop a mysterious cult from turning their kidnapped Titan shapeshifters into a huge problem.

The new quest is available to all players who have unlocked Yasuke as a playable character, and can be unlocked by talking to quest giver Ada in the Yamashiro area north of Hanazang Tower. Players will be able to loot new cosmetics for their hideouts throughout the mission, and receive a new Crystal Katana for Naoe as a reward upon completion.

Other Attack on Titan cosmetics, including Naoe's Mikasa-themed outfit, Yasuke's Titan-themed armor, Survey Corps mount, and more weapons, are available for purchase in the in-game store.

The collaboration and its associated missions are only available for a limited time, so players only have until December 22 to complete the new missions and unlock their cosmetics.

AoT co-op is part of AC Shadows' latest gameplay update, which also brings some balance tweaks and bug fixes, as well as a new story mission called “Puzzles.” Compared to the dramatic AoT missions, Puzzle is a light-hearted story moment, asking players to figure out who would win in a battle between Yasuke and Naoe, and challenging them to open a puzzling door.
